Abstract

The relationship between teachers and students is conceived under different forms of communication, involving affective and  motional aspects and is inherent to all dynamics inserted in the teaching-learning process. Thus, both educationalpsychology and neuroscience are important pedagogical tools in adapting methodologies and materials. The article has a bibliographic-qualitative  pproach where texts in Spanish, English and Portuguese are analyzed. Based on the studies, it seems reasonable to say that the  nowledge and practice of the concepts of educational psychology and neuroscience can contribute to the understanding of teachers  n relation to human development. It is concluded that due to the complexity of the human being, it is difficult to predict the effect  hat any teacher's action will have on a particular student. Therefore, interdisciplinarity between different areas of knowledge makes  t possible to consider ethical and social issues, in addition to the diverse nature of students in the classroom.
